Illinois and Iowa remain the nation’s top soybean producers

Five Midwestern states -- Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, and Nebraska -- produced more than half of all U.S. soybeans in 2025. Illinois and Iowa stand out as the strongest producers.
