Missouri public health departments that opted into $100 gift card program

Twenty local public health agencies, out of 115 eligible departments, opted into a Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services program to purchase cash gift cards to incentivize getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Health departments could issue up to $100 worth of gift cards per person for receiving both their first and second doses. Many opted to give out $50 cards for each dose.

Three counties in Northwest Missouri (Worth County, DeKalb County, and Gentry County) share one health agency, the Tri-County Health Department.
St. Louis County is listed by the DHSS as opting into the state program, though it is also using a locally run gift card program to promote vaccination.
