Ruto lost 1 million from what he polled with Uhuru in 2017. Raila gained 84,992 from his tally in 2017. He attained a minimum of 25 percent votes in 34 counties -- five more than 29 in 2017. But Ruto gained votes in the right quarters which saw him raise the number of counties he got at least 25 percent votes to 39 -- four more than Uhuru in 2017.
