This experiment measures the percent change in cell population frequencies in blood samples stored at room temperature prior to processing with TokuKit. For three donors, 2 mL of blood was drawn into EDTA vacutainers and left at room temperature. At each time point, samples were processed with TokuKit and subsequently analyzed using Teiko's 41-marker Mass Cytometry panel.
Our established cutoff requires 100% of cell populations to fall within the +/- 25% change threshold. It is recommended to process whole blood samples with TokuKits using EDTA vacutainers within 9 hours.
