Odds of little or no rate change surge

Interest rate futures, which allow traders to bet on changes in monetary policy, suggest there's a 86% chance the Fed will raise interest rates by 0.25 percentage point on March 22 – as of March 21 – with a 14% chance of no change at all. Barely a week ago, the odds of a more aggressive 0.5 percentage point hike were about 80%.
