Regional specialization in multiple manufacturing industries relating to next-generation geothermal

This map relates regional manufacturing strengths across commuting zones to next-generation geothermal supply chains. For each of 20 relevant six-digit NAICS manufacturing industries, the commuting zone's employment-based location quotient is ranked into deciles (1–5; 0 if the industry is absent). The map displays the sum of decile scores across all industries. Per-industry scores are unweighted; they do not reflect any industry's relative importance to the geothermal supply chain or the share of an industry's employment that is directly related to geothermal applications.
