Refused immigrants suffer mostly from family separation

Of the almost 900 immigrant cases in this dataset, most were unable to see their families and partners for years at a time, while others endured health issues that only further complicated their situations. One-third of those in this dataset were affected by more than one kind of trauma, like family separation, loss of a loved one or medical issues.
