Annual Wage Increases in California

California’s minimum wage will increase by $1 an hour every year until all businesses are required to pay $15 an hour by 2023. This will also increase the overtime exemption requirement.

Note: Organizations this timetable applies to organizations with less than 25 employees. Those organizations with 26 or or more employees are one year ahead of this timetable: i.e., they will reach $15 an hour by 2022.
