Money raised by express lanes

Tolls and fines paid by users of express lanes are collected for CDOT or Plenary Roads Denver, which manages U.S. 36 and one I-25 segment. The money goes toward project debt, operating costs and other expenses. (Corridors on U.S. 36 and I-25 waive tolls for vehicles carrying at least three people and motorcyclists.)
