Net Change in USPS Address Requests to Leave San Francisco

In August 2020, nearly 7,000 more people requested a permanent address change out of SF zip codes than requested one into SF zip codes.

The net change of address away from San Francisco peaked in August of 2020 and has since receded closer to pre-pandemic rates.
