State officials say avoid the Big River between Leadwood and Owl Creek Park

A wastewater treatment plant in Leadwood is leaking high levels of E. Coli into the Big River. Missouri Department of Natural Resources officials said people, pets and livestock should avoid the water between the city and Owl Creek Park.
