People overstate voting to pollsters, and this group reports voting near 90% — actual turnout among older Americans runs in the low 70s, still the highest of any age group. Larger samples than the youth chart; moves under ~4 points are noise. A "neither" option was added in 1988, and ANES interviewing moved mostly online after 2012, which inflates "no say" agreement.
