Which wards have green alleys?

Using data from the Chicago Department of Transportation, Illinois Answers Project mapped out 399 "green alley" constructions across the city and stacked it up against reports filed to 311 for four different categories involving flooding: water on street, water in basement, sewer cleaning and sewer cave-in requests. From 2021 until 2023, residents filed 97,240 reports related to flooding; during the same time, 83 green alleys sprung up across the city.

But not every ward is getting a green alley, even if it has a high number of complaints. Use the tool below to search for your ward or browse the data.
