Difference in Voter Turnout Before and After May 12

About 89% of voters whose mail ballots were requested before May 12 — three weeks before Pennsylvania’s June 2 primary election — ultimately voted. The voting rate drops after that: 76% of voters whose ballot applications were processed after May 12 ended up voting.

Estimates exclude a small number of voters who requested mail ballots but could not be found in the July 13 voter roll. Susquehanna and Northumberland Counties are excluded because the voter roll did not contain their primary election data.
