Firearm death rate has steadily increased in Missouri since concealed carry law passed in 2003

In 2019, Missouri had a firearm death rate of 20.52 per 100,000 residents. That's nearly double the rate for the United States, and it was the sixth highest in the country.

Rates are age-adjusted and represent firearm deaths per 100,000 people.
