Which Texas school districts are at risk of triggering a potential state takeover in 2027?

At least 14 districts had at least one campus with four consecutive failing ratings in the state's most recent A-F ratings. A fifth failing grade could trigger sanctions.

Note: This list does not include districts that have had their campus closures approved by the Texas Education Agency or approved partnerships under Senate Bill 1882 for all their qualifying campuses. It also does not include any districts that have already met the criteria to trigger a potential state takeover.
