Availability of insurance by region

% of properties in dataset where insurance can be bought online from multiple underwriters. Almost all properties can obtain quotes from at least two underwriters, but a third quote is harder to come by in some regions, especially those with high seismic risk.

Dataset includes 1400 properties selected by Finity to match New Zealand's seismic risk profile. The underwriters that quotes were sought from were IAG, Tower, Vero and AA Insurance.
