In most Washington counties, majority of eligible children haven't initiated COVID-19 vaccination
King and San Juan counties are the only places where more than 60% of 12- to 17-year-olds have started their vaccine series.

While King and San Juan counties have by far the highest child vaccination rates of 62 and 68 percent, East of Chelan county, the vaccination rates drop significantly. Eastern Washington has vaccination rates in the teens and twenties, while Western Washington tends to see numbers more in the 30s and 40s.
