Projects that became operational in 2025 spent an average of over 8 years in PJM's queue

In order to work through the backlog of queued projects with the reformed process, PJM has not processed any new applications since 2022. Under its current plan, applicants since 2022 will begin to be reviewed in 2026.

This does not include projects which dropped out of the queue, only those which became operational.
