Percentage of tackles being paid as holding-the-ball free kicks in the AFL (2024)

So far in 2024, 7.1 per cent of registered tackles have been rewarded with a holding the ball free kick. To the same point of the 2023 season, 8.1 per cent of tackles were rewarded with a holding-the-ball free kick.
