Flood risk of properties in whatcom cities and towns

Many of the areas hit hardest by 2021 floods have high proportions of properties with significant to extreme flood risk ratings.

Flood risk rating includes all risks of inland and coastal flooding. The rating is based on narrative describing the specific flood risk for the property, projected chance of each type of flood event, projected flood depth, projected high tide flood days and FEMA flood risk category.
