Occupations with the largest number of recent and current international students as per the 2016 census

This table shows the percentage of employees who are current or recent international students. It uses data from the 2016 census. The occupations with the highest proportion of international students are 1) Personal Care Consultants (17.6%), 2) Housekeepers (16.5%) 3) Waiters (15.0%), Massage Therapists (12.3%) and Kitchenhands (12.2%).

Current and recent international students includes all student visa holders and 485 visa holders. Data derived from ABS Census 2016 information
