From fiscal years 2010 through 2018, the rate of inmates who may have been victims of misconduct by staffers in federal correctional facilities rose by nearly 50 percent.
The rate for each fiscal year was obtained by dividing the number of misconduct allegations where an inmate was involved by the total number of federal inmates of that year, and then multiplying by 10,000.
