The Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Minneapolis regions are extremely well-positioned to compete in cleantech manufacturing, according to industry feasibility data from RMI's Clean Growth Tool. Scores listed here are percentiles—they show the feasibility of each industry for each region, relative to other regions nationwide.


Feasibility is a measure of a region's ability to successfully host an industry given the existing economic strengths of area. 'Energy Transmission Equipment' includes technologies like inverters and transformers. The regions listed here are economic areas as defined by the Bureau of Economic Analysis; there are 179 economic areas nationwide.
