Clients who have experienced family and domestic violence seeking housing services
In 2022-2023, support services were unable to provide housing to all of those seeking assistance.
A stacked column chart shows three columns: one for short-term or emergency accommodation, one for medium-term/transitional housing and one for long-term housing. Short-term is the tallest column with a total of 48,141 clients seeking assistance, while there are 31,219 seeking medium-term and 37,392 seeking long-term. Each column is divided into colours according to whether service has been provided, or a client has been referred only, or not provided or referred. The majority of short-term clients have been provided with housing, while more than half of medium-term and 70 per cent of long-term clients have not been provided or referred for services.
