State Tax Credits for Private K-12 School Voucher Contributions in 2024 

Note: Illinois has a credit that is scheduled to expire at the end of 2023 and is therefore not included in this map showing credits that will be in effect in 2024. The Nebraska credit will become available for the first time in 2024. More generally, the net tax benefit from contributing often exceeds the percentages shown here because taxpayers can sometimes stack additional tax subsidies on top of the state credits (such as federal or state deductions for business expenses, charitable gifts, or capital gains tax avoidance).
