FEMA Site Vaccine Recipients Are Disproportionately White

At the FEMA vaccination site at the Convention Center, 53.5% of vaccine recipients were white, a disproportionately high number in a city where non-Hispanic white residents make up only about one-third of the population.

As of the week of March 7. Hispanic residents are not counted within Black, Asian, white, or “other” categories.
