Average characteristics of the neighborhoods of Bay Area leavers and stayers

The data come from comparing the neighborhood (Census tract) characteristics of the average person leaving the Bay Area and the average person staying in the region. The sample consists of people in the UC-CCP who resided in the Bay Area between 2014 and 2025. Per-capita income, home values, and rents are inflated to 2025 Q4 dollars.
