Missouri voters reject abortion restrictions
Missourians defeated Amendment 3 on Tuesday, rejecting a legislature-led effort to repeal the 2024 abortion protections. The more metropolitan counties provided the bulk of the opposition. The amendment would have also put constitutional restrictions on gender-affirming care for minors.
Four counties voted in opposition to the repeal after voting against the initial 2024 abortion amendment: Cass, Green, Jefferson and Saline counties.
