We spoke with 6 bodegueros on Feb. 22. Most were owners or co-owners; at least one was an employee. We spoke with approximately 70 customers at 7 different stores on March 9th and 10th, although not every person answered every question.
The project launched in late February at seven stores in the south and west Bronx, speaking with six owners (bodegueros) and approximately 70 customers in both English and Spanish.
