Validated signatures for America First Party

Supporters petitioned voters for the creation of two new political parties in 2026. The following shows the percentage of registered voters per county who supported the creation of the America First Party. Leaders of the effort needed at least 6,728 signatures. The Nebraska Republican Party is suing to block the new party from being certified and having candidates on the 2026 ballot.

Hover over a county to see the number of registered voters as of July 1, 2026, and how many voters signed the petition. Petitions were due July 15. The America First Party turned in signatures July 15. Signature verification ceased after the party surpassed 110% of the signature goal, which included around 2,200 valid signatures in each of Nebraska's congressional districts.
