A poll from CNN, taken between Jan. 10 and Feb. 6, found 70% of Republicans believe President Joe Biden is not the legitimately elected president. That is the same amount who stated that belief when CNN took a similar poll in March 2021.
The study was conducted for CNN by SSRS, an independent research company. Surveys were obtained January 10- February 6, 2022 with a representative sample of n=1,527 respondents. U.S. households were randomly selected to participate and were first reached via mail. Adults ages 18 or older completed the survey via web (n=1,353) or phone (n=174). The margin of sampling error for total respondents is +/- 3.3 at the 95% confidence level.
