Residents’ Views on Their Neighborhoods

Overall, two-thirds of Philadelphians rate their neighborhood as good or excellent. That rating was highest for residents of Center City and Northwest Philadelphia, and lowest for residents in the river wards and North Philadelphia. Q:: How would you rate your neighborhood as a place to live?

Note: Some percentages may not add to 100% due to rounding. The 2025 Philadelphia Resident Survey collected responses from 2,289 adults from Jan. 2 through March 10, and has an overall margin of error of 2.7 percentage points.
