Manhattan Residential Contracts from April 27 - May 3, 2026

During the last week of April 2026, Manhattan recorded 252 apartment and townhouse signings, seven more than the prior week but five fewer than the same week in 2025. Aggregate dollar volume, based on last ask, fell 7% week over week but was up 1% year over year. The median asking price of signed contracts was $1.21 million, down 13% from the previous week and down 10% from a year ago. Average time on market fell to 95 days, the lowest level so far this year, likely due to increased inventory and stronger buyer urgency.
