After the Student Assembly Review Board invalidated the class of 2021 presidential election, students returned to the polls Thursday, April 9. This year's two contests were also a rematch of last year’s election, when Austin narrowly beat Tariku by 12 votes. This year, Austin initially beat Tariku by 36 votes before beating her by 38 votes in the special election.
