Deadly crashes in Philadelphia involving drivers leaving the scene are more than triple 2019's total. Hit and run crashes with reported injuries also soared during the pandemic, with an average of two people injured per day by fleeing drivers. (2022 non-fatal figures through Nov. 17.)
