Police misconduct, online and on the street

Records released by the Philadelphia Police Department show that officers who appeared in a database of controversial Facebook posts were more likely to have received a civilian complaint in the past five years than the average Philly cop. Most sworn police officers never received a complaint over the five-year timeframe, while a handful of officers received a disproportionate number of complaints from civilians.
