New York's large-scale climate disasters

As of September 10, the state has been affected by eight weather and climate disasters that each caused over $1 billion in damages nationwide in 2024, according to NOAA data.

Many events affect several states. Disaster costs have been adjusted for inflation according to the Consumer Price Index for 2024.
