Philadelphia Adults With a College Degree

The share of Philadelphia adults ages 25 and older with a college degree rose 12 percentage points from 2013 to 2023, and is now slightly higher than the nation as a whole. Philadelphia still lagged cities such as Washington, Boston, and Pittsburgh, where the share of college-educating adults exceeded 50%.
