Republican Mail Balloting Was Up Over the 2022 Primary, But Not As High As in 2020

Republican elected officials' efforts to increase the use of mail ballots seem to have moved the needle as compared with the 2022 primary, but Republicans still made up just a quarter of the statewide total mail ballot requests and returns. That was still lower than in 2020, at the height of the pandemic.
