STATE NOTE. Results reflect the FAST assessment administered to grades 3-8; data accessed 6/26/26. "Proficiency" here includes students performing on or above grade level on the FAST (levels 3-5).
DISTRICT INCLUSION. Districts included in this figure are public non-charter regular school districts, as defined by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Results are displayed only if all individual grade levels (between grades 3-8) did not have suppressed results (thus preventing accurate aggregation) or if the State Education Agency provided an aggregated district total for grades 3-8; in other words, smaller districts may not be represented here if grade-level results are suppressed.
