Note: S&P Global provides the following information regarding the methodology of data collection: "Data combines county-level deed information from Cotality and data center information from 451 Research from S&p Global Energy Horizons, using distance metrics and address similarity algorithms. The Cotality data does not include Vermont and covers 75% of US counties. The excluded counties arevery small relative to others when measured by gross county product. Loan amounts do not include modifications, and in many cases, the loan amount is the maximum principal amount that the borrower can draw upon, beginning at origination and extending into the future for a predefined period, e.g, 30 years."
