Most serious incidents remain small portion of all N.J. bear reports, data shows

Despite being on track to triple from 2021 to 2022, category I incidents, the most serious type of incidents including human and unprovoked dog attacks and home entries, are a small portion of overall bear incidents, NJ Department of Environmental Protection data shows.
