The U.S. Department of Justice provides immigrants facing deportation with a list of pro bono legal aid groups. In Georgia, only two groups on the list handle the cases of detainees and each only takes up to about five pro bono cases at a time. The detention centers they serve, however, house more than 1,700 immigrants.
