Moderna and Pfizer vaccines: What you need to know.

A panel of FDA advisers on Wednesday recommended authorizing both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for children as young as 6 months old.

Note: Moderna and Pfizer trials were not conducted the same way. While vaccines from both companies rely on mRNA technology, they have different formulations.
