Almost one-third of frequent anime watchers in Singapore have shopped for anime merchandise this past year, down from close to half

Note: Shopping for anime merchandise, includes official and fan-made figurines, keychains, posters and other paraphernalia, and browsing anime markets and warehouse sales (e.g. HaHaHakken! Warehouse Sale, Anime Festival Asia Market); Visited anime-themed businesses, includes attending anime conventions (e.g. Anime Festival Asia, Singapore Comic Convention, Cosfest) and establishments that have collaborations with anime franchises (e.g. Aniplus Café, Konoha Izakaya); Creating anime fan art, includes producing any writing, artwork or crafts inspired by anime that respondents have watched.

Data (N = 78) weighted by age, gender, and ethnicity to be nationally representative of all adults in Singapore (aged 18+ years) and reflect the latest Singapore Department of Statistics (DOS) estimates.
