Wharton MBAs have launched a few spectacularly successful startups right off the campus over the years, including Warby Parker and Commonbond. But compared to Harvard Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business, the startup life doesn't seem to attract all that many MBA students. In 2020, for example, just 28 of the 904 graduates reporting back to Wharton started a company, or 3.1% of the class. That compares to 105 students at Harvard, 11% of the class. At Stanford, 18% of the Class of 2020 launched ventures, matching the previous high of entrepreneurs among the Class of 2013.
