Reasons people lost their Medicaid coverage

The share of people who lost their Medicaid coverage due to "procedural reasons" like missing a deadline or the state not being able to contact them range from a high of 89% in Indiana to 42% in Pennsylvania, according to an analysis by Kaiser Family Foundation. Some of those who lost coverage due to procedural reasons could still be eligible.
