The employment of Asian immigrants is heavily concentrated in two sectors: retail and hospitality. These two sectors account for three-quarters (74%) of workers of this origin, almost four times the proportion among the native-born population. This occupational concentration is even higher among Chinese immigrants (83% are employed in retail and hospitality).
