The most recent data from 2025 show that 96% of Democrats, 85% of independents and 71% of Republicans favor a path to citizenship for immigrants brought illegally as children. For immigrants living illegally in the U.S., 93% of Democrats, 79% of independents and 59% of Republicans support a path to citizenship.
